Teaching idea to improve students reading &speaking ability

Since the world spinning around and year by year goes forward. Technologies have controlled the human needs, especially nowadays. However we cannot avoid that there are many contradiction about the functions of technology in the use of learning activity. Here is the explanation about the advantages and disadvantages of using technology on its implementation in education. Besides, we have to bear in mind that technology are the important part to the students [click here]. In addition there are many strategies for the students in order to make learning activity using technology can be successful click it!

In my opinion, Technology indeed need for the students, because life keep moving sophisticated. Moreover, technology is the easiest way to practice that is why using technology can be effective to be apply.  So, here is on of my idea using technology in learning activity.

Nowadays, students don't like reading a full text books since it bring flatness to the students mood, they are need something that refers to visual thing. Therefore comic can gain students interest in reading because comic are colorful and simpler to read. We already know that comic provide sketches and texts which help students enjoy to read. 

In class activity using comic as a media, we can start by :

1. Ask whether the students know what is comic, how many comic they have read and what are their favorite comic books. 

2. Then, give them educational E-comics from storybird (storybird lets anyone make visual stories in a second. You can also make your own comic or narrative story).  The aim of using comic is to help students interest with the subject that the teacher bring. If the comic talked about description text, the purpose are make the students can analyze the description texts and describe person, thing, or place in specific. 

3. After the students read the comic, the teacher ask the student and their partner to come in the front of class to practice dialog in comic that they had read, the aim is the students can practice conversation about descriptive text. Then, the teacher give feedback to each group. 

4. The last task, teacher ask the students to create their own comic using Sketchbook application about descriptive text that can be download in their own phone. the aim is make the students to be able to create a comic.

5. After all the teachers give feedback and grade the students task.
